Kitchener, ON – Intercity travel just got an electric boost, with local sustainable start-up Wroute Inc. announcing extension of their zero emission passenger service, with connections to the Hamilton area and frequent train services along the lakeshore corridor. Wroute passenger service is expanding to include more stops in Waterloo region and Guelph, as well as travelling south to Burlington and the Aldershot GO station.
The company launched in September 2018 and uses Tesla SUVs to drive people back and forth between Kitchener's Fairview Park Mall and Guelph Central Station.

KITCHENER — Wroute Inc. is branching out, adding additional stops in Waterloo Region, Guelph and Burlington to its regular passenger service.
The Kitchener-based transportation company launched frequent trips between Fairview Park mall and downtown Guelph in September with a fleet of electric Tesla SUVs.
